About the role
Do you want to work at the fastest growing producer of cookies, cakes and waffles in Europe? And do you have several years of experience in the field? Then we would like to hear from you! We are looking for a driven Logistics Manager for our location in Dordrecht.
As a Logistics Manager you are responsible for the logistic process that achieves focus, alignment and synchronization among key functions in the organization. The main focus of this role is optimizing the transport & distribution network in the most efficient & cost effective way, targeting optimized customer delivery service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- You ensure optimal customer service by executing all logistics processes.
- Leading and coaching logistics, supply chain, transportation, and warehousing teams.
- Achieve 100% delivery performance for critical CB accounts like LIDL, Carrefour.
- You will be coordinating with Sales and Logistic Service Providers, transporters and warehouses for timely order handling.
- Creating logistics reports, communicate insights to stakeholders, and ensure action follow-up.
- You will be analyzing and suggesting improvements for order handling processes, effective transport plans and cost-saving improvements to procedures, contracts, and agreements.
What you bring?
- You have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar position in the FMCG or any other manufacturing industry with similar dynamics.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is a must, master of another European language is considered a plus.
- You are decisive, analytical and able to influence and motivate the people around you.
- Is stress resistant, energetic and sensitive. You know how to put things forward and stays cool under different circumstances.
- Has a practical (down to earth) hands-on mentality.
