About the role
Do you want to work at the fastest growing producer of cookies, cakes and waffles in Europe? And do you have several years of experience in the field? Then we would like to hear from you! We are looking for a driven Group S&OP Lead for our location in Dordrecht.
As Group S&OP Lead, you will act as the process owner, architect and coordinator of the Group’s S&OP framework. You will be responsible for ensuring best-in-class planning processes across all countries and entities, aligning sales, operations, supply chain, and finance. Your role is central in building a strong demand forecast, solving capacity challenges, and ensuring we deliver on our growth ambitions.
This is a highly visible role, reporting directly to the Group COO and working closely with Planning Managers in the Netherlands and France, as well as with Operations Directors, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve the Group S&OP process across all countries and categories.
- Develop and implement standardized processes, templates, and best practices.
- Lead the monthly S&OP cycle, including demand forecasting (18 months horizon) and supply reviews.
- Drive capacity planning and resolve bottlenecks at Group level, ensuring alignment with local management teams.
- Build and maintain long-term forecasts (3–5 years) to shape the Group’s capacity strategy.
- Benchmark our S&OP processes against industry peers and integrate new tools and technologies.
- Define and track planning KPIs (forecast accuracy, bias, stock levels, etc.) and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support hiring, training, and coaching of S&OP managers/coordinators across all regions.
- Act as change leader for S&OP-related projects, including system implementations and organizational transformations.
What you bring?
- 10+ years of experience in S&OP, demand and/or supply planning, with at least 3 years in a multi-country coordination role.
- Strong background in supply chain management, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with Advanced Planning Systems (APS) and planning technologies.
- Excellent analytical and project management skills; able to balance multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage both executive leadership and operational teams.
- Data-driven mindset with a proven track record in improving forecast accuracy and capacity planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field; supply chain certifications are a plus.
- Fluent in English (French or Dutch is an advantage).
What do we offer?
- A competitive salary based on your working experience.
- A variable bonus scheme based on performance up to a maximum of 12% of the annual income.
- 30 vacation days based on a fulltime work week.
- A challenging experience in a dynamic work environment, where personal initiative is highly valued.
- Plenty of development opportunities.
- Cookies on regular basis in the office.
